The wonderful event of cria birth is at hand and you have all the items you think you will need in case of any eventuality...wait ...think...what if... the summer day is not so warm or ... the cria was born just a little too soon and you want to keep her body temperature up or he or she were born in the middle of the night  or early early in the morning. It happens... hopefully not often .

Even a normal birth on a Spring afternoon can chill a wet cria...so what do you do..

There are alot of options and i have found one i really like more then the others.

This versatile sweater is the answer for keeping crias toasty warm and dry !
 They are hand made by a  very talented lady who knits a tight weave that lets very little air escape and keeps the cria warmer yet is light and non intrusive so the little cria can get up on his or her wobbly feet and find moms milk.

These sweaters are made from  100% cotton and are shrink resistant and are machine washable, throw in the dryer ready.

Life has just become a little easier~

   For Alpacas i like either the small or medium small.
